Health Care Reform

There has been a plethora of information and discussion regarding reforming health care in the USA. I may be wrong but there seems to be few who don't agree on the need for giving attention to reforming health insurance and care. The debate seems to be with the "how" question. What amazes me is the misinformation that abounds. What do you think about health care reform?

  1. about the health care reform. I am not sure I understand it all. Its like nothing is being done about health care and helping people. The seniors should be secured in knowing medicare will be there to help them. Is the health care reform just being talked about or is there action being done to pursue the issue. Carolyn

  2. I keep reading about the health care reform. I think president Obama is doing a good job. I think we were in so much debt when president Bush left that it will take time to get money situation back in order. You can tell issues are being worked on trying to get money situations in order. Give President Obama a great big chance. It could be very worth while. Carolyn

I read the articles in the news paper about the health care reform. It sounds all mixed up right now. Thats about all I know to say right now. Carolyn

  4. this is kind of on another subject, but it ties in with health care and perscribtions and medicare D. If the new 2010 passes the new budget for washington state, there is a clause in it saying all seniors will lose there co-pay help with getting there medicine. This becomes to compacated. With out the co-pay the medicare D insurance company will pay so much toward your medicine up to a certain amount. Then the seniors will have to pay money out of their own pockets which could result in over 3,000 dollars. Then after seniors spend the money out of their pockedt the insurance company will start paying again. Is any one listening out there. Please do so. Write or meet with your congress man in Washington State My name is Carolyn from CVAB recovery mental health center.

  5. I went to Sheba. These people help you with your medical insurance and Medicare. If the governor goes through with her new budget there will be cuts. If you are on Medicare D perscripstion plan, contact the social security office about extra help. There is what is called Lis. The social Security will explain how this works. P.S. On Thursday December 31, I went to my primary Doctor for medicine. My co-pay would not pay for it, nor my medicare D perscription. Total cost me $16.99. Again write your legisture representivities to come up with better solutions instead of all the budget cuts. Good luck in what helps you the most. Carolyn greeter at CVAB.
