Times are changing...any spare change?

The financial realities are catching up to mental health services and I'm uncertain of what our future looks like. I know our agency leaders will need to be creative and persistant in pursuit of resources...

  1. Brad: This obviously has something to do with the article I told you about. And for once in a long while in this blog, I think you're right on the money [sic]. I think we need to have a better system as far as how CVAB and the Val Ogden Center intermingle, and how we can make the best of these two resources before the bottom falls out on other services such as the adapt program. I'm eager to know what else you have to say.

  2. Brad: here is a support notice about you taking over the val ogen center. I think it is a very good thing to do. There is alot of consumers that need support in going back to work. It will be an advange to everyone. Its nice to see val ogen center and cvab come together. That has been going to happen for a long long time. I guess you will be alot busier and in and out of the office alot more. Please rest and do not get to tired. I dont think you realize how many people look up to you for a supportive guide in the community. Its nice to have a role model like you. anonymous Carolyn

  4. brad, I have driven by the val ogen center many times. I wonder how it is going to help people for the better. I think everyone needs to learn and realize its there to help them. Money wise I think it will fit in pretty well. I saw many times where other people did not have any help at all. They did not know where to turn to. It is a lonesome road out there. Sometimes it takes large steps to get to where we want to go. Some times smaller steps very slowly are ok to use. Its called being very careing toward ones self. Carolyn
