WALK

As the weather finally starts to get warmer I have a big recommendation. WALK. Just take a walk to get outside and outside of your head...you can learn the best things from nature.

  1. anonymous, I enjoy walking. I find walking to be the best exercise for me. walking can be done by different ways of exercise. A person can get on and off the bus. Walk the grocery store isles, gardening and in many different ways when a person thinks about it. I received Womans Day magizene. It supports alot of walking for exercise.

  2. If there's any reason you should go to Portland, it's because of the trails in Forest Park. I have never been more invigorated and immersed in beauty, except when hiking in the Columbia River Gorge. I would love to be able to show anyone reading this how to get there...

  3. anonymous, I have enjoyed the visits from my girls and grandkids. Some of us rode the sky lift over in portland, oregon, We rode the bus to top of hill VA campus. Then after we rode down the tram we caught the tolly care through down town portland. We stopped at the vinders for food and then walked to powell book store. We shopped around the book store for awhile. I am into cat mystery stores and getting new cookbooks. Then we walked a few blocks to catch max the train. We rode it to Delta park. What you do when you catch the train at delta park , you get the ticket thats good all day. It will take you on the train, bus and tolley care ride, and then back to delta park again. You will also see a beautiful view of portland in all the riding on different travels. It was a fun day. A day we all did different things. Oh by the way, when you ride the tram to VA hospital. At the bottom of the train you have to pay to go up. When you come down on the tram you do not have to pay anything. Kind or remember that. Carolyn
