  1. anonymous, I am very thankful for mental health resources. CVAB has become a good part of my mental health recouvery. Sometimes when I start feeling down at home, I take a shower with good smelling body jell, get my self dressed, put on my make up, and take the bus to CVAB for coffee. Then I stop felling down. I have planted my flowers. They are likeing the rain and are starting to bloom more. On week-ins I watch movies of all kinds. John Wayne movies are exciting to me. John Wayne is one of my movie boyfriends. Then there is James Bond movies 0007, In my senior class we paint and do art work, we are making tool boxes of recouvery and what it means to each person. Sometimes I volenteer and visit someone at the hospital I know from senior class. Sometimes I just plain like to loaf and that is a fun pass time event. Read books, take a walk, listen to music, do what ever makes a person happy. I enjoy staying at home, keeping house and cooking. I enjoy my quiet times of happy memories.

  2. I think it should be enunciated this month how important the Warm Line is and what we should do to improve it.

  3. Hey Paul M--

I really liked your poem in the latest issue of the Voice. Although I've never been homeless, I felt I could really identify with it.

    Thanks
    Nick

  4. anonymous, I think the last week in May has been set aside as Senior mental health month. Senior mental health is some what of a different story. We are older. The age can range anywhere from 50 to whenever. The senior age use to be 65 years old, but now days the events age has changed somewhat. I would not want to be 20 ever again. My own mind has become alot sharper in ways in how I make dicisions about my own life. Sometimes I have negative throught but I find ways of helping myself. A while back I told my Doctor thank you for helping me. He said did I know who helped me. I had helped myself as a person and a human being. I heard someone else say sometimes we have to go backwards to be able to move frontwards. This is not living in the past. We take care of ourselves which include our healthy lifestyle, our medicine, and responability. There is nothing wrong with seeing a therphist. She is there to help a person deal with issues. Seniors have the help and go ahead over alot of other people and different areas of life. We never have to take abuse off of anyone. Enjoy life, breathe and try and make life a happy experience.
