Extra! Extra! Read All About It

I tend to fear what may happen when good intentions meet published reports.

You can find a nice article about CVAB in the Clark County section of today's edition of The Columbian or you can find it online: http://www.columbian.com/news/2010/sep/13/self-help-agency-wins-federal-grant/

Enjoy the read and stay tuned for developments. Who knows, I may get over my fears....I doubt it.....

  1. congraduations on the september 13, 2010 newspaper write up about CVAB. I found it writting very correctly. CVAB has taken big steps in the last number of months. It has taken everyone working together to help CVAB receive the different fundings. Good luck to CVAB in the years to come. There are many sucess storys coming from alot of different people coming into CVAB. Computer class and recouvery classes have taken a big toll on helping people. There are many areas to get involved. Remember the 3 Rs. We each have to take care of our own lives and find what each one of us want in life. Life is a growing process for everyone. Good luck to CVAB

  2. I recently read in the columbia newspaper about money cuts and larch mt prison. This being worked on to try and stay open with the help of senter pridemore and others. Also this last week it was written that in January 2011 medicaid would not pay for prescriptions. The newspaper also stated that medicaid would not cover vision and dental. Representive Jacks came to my door on Sunday. I got to personally talk to him about these issues. Jacks told me the governor had to come up with a bedget plan by December of this year 2010. Jacks said the issues were being worked on to work out a better helpful plan to all people on medicaid. Carolyn

  4. This is great! For a long time I was under the impression that CVAB becoming too popular and/or accessible could be a weakness. But such is not the case, I'm realizing. CVAB simply has too much to offer and should be open to anyone who can live up to the three R's. This seems to be the biggest problem right now (the three R's)--I see a lot of people not giving them much consideration.

    Keep rockin', CVAB!
